SYLKA, one of the world’s leading producers of luxury carpets and rugs, has been selected as the latest sponsor for The International Design & Architecture Awards 2021.
These prestigious awards, held annually by publication design et al, celebrate the very best projects and companies in the luxury global interior design and architecture industry.
Previous winners, which include SYLKA themselves, make up an elite group of companies within the sector, which is why winning an award is regarded as the pinnacle of recognition for designers and architects.
Each year thousands of submissions are made, with more than 400 projects reaching the shortlist, culminating in a variety of international guests coming together for a luxurious awards event.
Unlike other awards, The International Design & Architecture Awards are not judged by a panel. Instead, entries are presented online, and voting is open to industry professionals, as well as design et al readers, clients and customers.
Well known for its own award-winning NuSilk™ fibre carpets and rugs, SYLKA is a longstanding supporter of the awards, having sponsored them for more than half a decade.
Steve Farrell, Founder and Managing Director of SYLKA, said: “We are very excited to once again be sponsoring these fantastic awards. Having won many awards ourselves, we can appreciate the value and benefits that they bring to a business.
“Design et al is a highly respected organisation and so we are delighted to be a part of their annual celebration for the industry.”
With clients around the world, including a growing network of superyacht designers and builders, SYLKA is bringing its reputation for outstanding quality and its unrivalled level of service to these awards through its support of this year’s event.
The winners of The International Design & Architecture Awards 2021 will be declared in September at a luxurious awards ceremony held at an exclusive venue in central London.
“As proud sponsors, we are looking forward to seeing which projects, products and designers take the top spots at this year’s awards,” added Steve.
