Calypso’s sophisticated and chic beach-club-style interior is the quintessence of opulent cruising , and was inspired by the historic sloop owned by the original owner of the Mulder Shipyard.
Light-bathed convivial living areas and bright and elegant cabins evoke a breezy interior that is enhanced by a palette rooted in warm whites, complemented by sumptuous natural-hued Sylka carpets underfoot.
The pièce de résistance in the saloon is the bespoke hand-tufted rug crafted by artisans. Made from Nusilk, a luxury fibre that recreates the aesthetics and delicate texture of natural silk, its weathering properties and ease of maintenance make it the perfect floorcovering for marine environments. The statement rug features a subtle coastal motif, oozing tactility as its sumptuous deep pile has been carved into curves that replicate the ripples in the sand after the tide goes out.
Opulence, our most popular range, was selected for the main cabins, in Snow Drift colourway, evoking a light and harmonious aesthetic. Opulence is the height of practicality and durability, and incredibly easy to maintain. Stunningly beautiful. its deep 12mm pile height provides supreme comfort underfoot, and its pure silk-like lustre evokes the ultimate luxurious aesthetic. The pared-back design encourages a serene and restful ambience.
The soothing master bedroom also features the Opulence carpet in Snow Drift. As it boasts unrivalled visual and tactile appeal, and combines being delicate and luxurious to the touch with impressive durability. Its innovative fibres won’t shed or pill, unlike natural fibres, and have increased resistance to pile crush prevalent in floorcoverings made from natural and organic fibres.
The pale natural hue of Snow Drift complements the luxury yacht’s bright and breezy aesthetic and is guaranteed to retain its beautiful appearance. All our Sylka ranges are produced from NuSilk-Ecosylk which has incredibly hardwearing properties that ensure it is resistant to sunlight and the yellowing common in natural fibres. It also repels insects, fungi and moulds and mildew.
