Shedding in Tapis de Cashmere, Stipple and NuKnotted ranges
Some shedding occurs when staple fibres work loose from the surface pile via foot traffic and vacuuming.
The length of time for shedding is dependent on conditions such as traffic level, frequency of maintenance and type of vacuum used. In most case shedding diminishes significantly within the first 3-6 months however all carpets will continue to shed albeit in very small amounts throughout their lifecycle.
Shedding does not negatively impact a carpet’s wear, characteristics or longevity and is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.
