Thousands of people are expected for London’s next big design show

In less than a months’ time, London’s Earl’s Court arena will be awash with thousands of people trying to find the latest trends in interior design, as the ever popular Ideal Home Christmas Show returns.

With the festivities just around the corner, hundreds of interior designers will be showing of their latest concepts and products to the hordes of people who attend the show every year.

The first Ideal Home Show opened in 1908 and was aimed at a growing market of home owners and designers who showcased many of the latest labour saving devices and interior design trends.

That tradition has carried on through the years and it has become the UK launch pad for countless household products and designs including the electric kettle (1920) and microwave (1947).

This year’s Christmas event will take place between the 19 and 23 November and will feature the latest design must haves and concepts, as well as a full-sized ice rink.

The show will also see some of the UK’s best-known interior designers, including Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, share tips and hints on how to make the ideal home.

They will also be producing set rooms showing the latest trends and fashions, which will feature products available from around the show.

In total more than 650 exhibitors will be showcasing their wares across seven sections including; Interiors & Home Accessories , Home Improvements & Outdoor Living , Fashion & Beauty, as well as Gifts and Decorations.
