A luxurious 185-ft superyacht boasting an array of exclusive and unusual features appears to be touring the UK, after it was spotted just off the coast of Dartmouth, Devon in recent days.
The exclusive ‘Hampshire’ vessel sighted by DevonLive last week was first built by Dutch yachtmaker Feadship for an undisclosed sum in 2001, and later redesigned and refurbished by acclaimed yacht designer John Munford around 2012. It is thought to be currently owned by Swiss billionaire oil boss Jim Ratcliffe.
According to reports, this particular model houses an underwater lounge with panoramic sea views and an external zip wire, enabling its more adventurous guests to whisk themselves down from the yacht’s 82-ft crow’s nest in a matter of seconds.
The vessel can accommodate up to 12 guests in six sumptuous cabins, comprising of a luxurious master suite, two extra-large double cabins and three twin cabins, all of which – in the case of this particular yacht – have been custom-designed to suit Mr Ratcliffe’s tastes.
It also boasts an on-deck Jacuzzi, a wine cellar and an on-board elevator.
Data from Feadship suggests that the superyacht is capable of carrying up to 105,000 litres of fuel at any one time, and achieving a top speed of up to 15 knots (17 mph).
